Here is how to do a bulk removal of tags from unsupported documents. The most common use case for this would be after tagging all documents in a folder or search (bulk tagging), and then wanting to remove the unsupported documents.

Step 1: Open the advanced search page. This can be found by clicking the puzzle piece icon on the left side of the screen.

Advanced search icon on left navigation bar.

Step 2: Enter your search. To search for all unsupported documents, select the pstate parameter and set the value to unsupported

Select the pstate parameter and set the value to unsupported

Step 3: Click the "play" button at the top of the screen to run the search.

Execute the search

NOTE: You can also search by other values (like name.ext, which would allow you to enter a file extension).

Step 4: Select all results by checking the box at the top of the page.

Showing location of "select all" button.

Step 5: Once all of the files are selected, select the tag you wish to remove on the right side of the screen.

In the example below, we are removing the "IMPORTANT" tag from all of the selected documents (if applicable).

Step 6: Click "Yes, remove from item" to remove the tag from the selected items.
