Once you have created your case on GoldFynch you can then upload your files directly to the home directory of your case or create specific folders and then upload documents to them. 


Uploading files to a new case

  1. Login to your GoldFynch account and navigate to your new case
    Drag-and-drop the files you wish to upload
  2. Select the files you wish to upload from your system using the File Explorer (or Finder on Mac)
  3. Drag-and-drop the files onto the upload area of the overview screen
  4. (Optional) Add the Custodian and Source information in the Upload file screen overlay
    Enter custodian and source information if required and then click on Begin Upload
  5. Click on the Begin Upload button


Uploading files to a specific folder

  1. Click on the 'Files' icon in the left pane and navigate to the 'Files' view in your GoldFynch case
  2. Click on a folder to navigate into it
    Navigate to the files view and click on a folder to navigate to it
  3. Select the files you wish to upload on your computer using the File Explorer (or Finder on Mac)
  4. Drag-and-drop the selected files onto the center of the screen of your browser window
  5. (Optional) Add the Custodian and Source information in the Upload file screen overlay
  6. Click on the "Begin Upload" button


Note: 

  • Alternatively, you can click on the 'Upload Files' button and select the files you wish to upload instead of using the drag-and-drop method. 
  • If you would like to upload the files to a new folder, click on the +New Folder button in the top-right corner of the 'Files' view after navigating to the location you want to create the new folder in
    Click on New folder to create a new folder
