1. Run a search for all the types of (processing states of) files you wish to generate a report on


Copy and paste the following text into the quick-search bar at the top of your screen and hit the 'return' button: 

pstate IS ANY-OF (queued, errored, unsupported, "awaiting pass", zero-byte)

Note: You can selectively include/exclude certain processing states of files by omitting terms from the above query


2. Tag the files to be omitted

Step 1. Check the 'select all' checkbox at the top of the page.

Step 2. In the action bar that opens on the right side of your screen, click on the 'Tag' button.


Step 3. Create a new tag (e.g. 'UNPRODUCEABLE') by typing its name into the text box and clicking on it when it appears below the text box.Create a new tag to apply to the unproduceable files

Step 4 Select the 'Apply only to this file' option and click on 'Apply' to apply the tag.

3. Generate the report

Step 1. Navigate to the 'Reports' view by clicking on the icon in the left pane

Step 2. Click on the '+New Report' button in the top-right corner of the screen

Step 3. Choose the 'File Listing - Tag' Type from the drop-down menu

Step 4. Enter a name for the report

Step 5. (optional) Include tag names, tag application notes, document notes, and annotations by selecting the relevant options 

Step 6. (optional) Check the 'Specify columns to include and their ordering' checkbox, then check or uncheck the columns (i.e. metadata fields) you wish to include in your report and rearrange them as desired by dragging them up and down in the list

Step 7. Select an output format from the drop-down menu

Step 8. Click on the 'Create Report' button


4. Download the report

Once the report is complete, the download button will become visible in the main 'Reports' view against the report's name. Click on the 'Download' button against to begin downloading the file.
